Berlin 2022

SPA98 is a renovation of a 240sqm single-family house on the outskirts of Berlin into a calming escape from the buzzing city life. The concept is based on a minimalistic approach creating a tranquil atmosphere for the inhabitants. Thus, the interior is characterized by natural materials and calming colors that create a warm and comfortable home. Leached and white oiled Douglas planks used for flooring and furniture beautifully underscore the serene space, while the wood’s natural grain adds a subtle dynamic to the interior. Furthermore, warm grey-colored inbuilt furniture pieces contribute to overall spatial harmony. A dark blue tone accentuates some individual elements and contrasts with the otherwise neutral color palette.
