Berlin 2013

Once the home of legendary Berlin club Delicious Doughnuts, transformed into the new, chic dancing bar Dean, by Ester Bruzkus and Patrick Batek.
The exterior is grey, but inside there is glamour, symbolic of the mesh of old and new in Berlin’s Mitte district. Inwards from the jet black entrance area is the bright marble bar top, shimmering under a gold ceiling. A dark, finished asphalt catwalk leads guests along past this bar and to the dancefloor. Lush velvet seating is in alcoves walled with mirror stripes and wooden vanes evoking the raunchy charm of the former nightclub.
